1. Information We Collect
Symptom & trigger logs. When you log how you feel, we store the severity ratings, symptom details, and any triggers you record (e.g., pet exposure, stress, medication). This data is stored on your device and synced to our backend to power your personal insights.
Location. With your permission, we access your device location to fetch local pollen counts, air quality index (AQI), and weather conditions at the time of logging. Location is used only to enrich your logs and is not stored independently from your symptom entries.
Onboarding preferences. During setup you tell us which allergens affect you (e.g., tree pollen, dust mites, pet dander) and details about your home environment. This profile is used solely to personalize your AllergyScore and insights.
Purchase information. If you subscribe to Premium, the Apple App Store or Google Play processes your payment. We receive a purchase receipt or token to verify your subscription status; we never see your payment card details.
Device & usage information. We may collect basic device identifiers and app version information for diagnostic purposes (e.g., crash reports). We do not collect advertising identifiers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Personalized insights. Your symptom logs and environmental data are analyzed to show you pattern summaries, your AllergyScore, and which triggers correlate with worse days.
- AI-generated content. Daily Briefs and weekly report summaries are generated by sending a summary of your recent logs (no personally identifying information) to the Anthropic Claude API. Anthropic's data use is governed by their privacy policy.
- Relocation Shield. Your personal trigger profile is used locally to calculate a personalized health score for cities you look up. City lookup queries are sent to our backend but are not linked to your identity.
- Subscription verification. Purchase receipts are sent to our backend to confirm your Premium status. They are not stored beyond what is needed for verification.
- App improvement. Aggregated, de-identified crash and usage data may be used to fix bugs and improve the app.
3. Third-Party Services
AllergyScore relies on the following third parties:
- Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription billing and purchase verification.
- Anthropic — AI-generated Daily Briefs and report summaries (Claude API).
- Pollen & weather data providers — real-time and forecast environmental data based on your location.
We do not share your data with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics platforms.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your symptom logs are stored on your device and on our backend servers. Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We retain your data until you request deletion. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 6).
5. Children's Privacy
AllergyScore is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Your Rights & Choices
- Access. You can view all your logged data inside the app.
- Deletion. Email developer4565@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" and we will delete all data associated with your device within 30 days.
- Location. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device Settings. The app will still work, but environmental data will not be attached to new logs.
- Notifications. You can disable push notifications in your device Settings.

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the app. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
